ARRIVING 1st week of October
One of the most famous BMW Art Cars, the 1977 BMW 320i E21 Turbo Group 5 was transformed by American Pop Art pioneer Roy Lichtenstein. His striking design incorporates sweeping lines representing the road and surrounding landscape, along with his signature Ben-Day dot patterns.
The car competed at the 1977 24 Hours of Le Mans as race number 50, driven by Herve Poulain and Marcel Mignot, finishing 9th overall and first in iclass. Norev's 1:43 scale model faithfully reproduces this spectacular combination of BMW Motorsport racing history and Pop Art. |
