Nicely done in 1:18 scale by LeMans Miniatures this is the Graham Hill walking with his helmet and gloves on figurine. These realistic figurines will dress up your garage scene or diorama.
British racing driver was born in 1929, Graham Hill is an emblematic character of Formula in 1960's. He is F1 World driver Champion in 1962 with BRM and in 1968 with Lotus. He participates LeMans 24 Hours race each year from 1958 to 1966 mostly on behalf of British teams but Porsche too. It is only when he comes back to LeMans in 1972 with Matra MS 670 car number 15 and teammate Henri Pescarolo he wins the race. He is the only driver ever to win the Triple Crown of Motorsport—the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Indianapolis 500 (in 1966) and either the Monaco Grand Prix (in 1963, 1964, 1965, 1968 et 1969) or the Formula One World Drivers' Championship. Hill was one of the first driver to customize his helmet. He adopted the colours and cap design of London Rowing Club for his racing helmet - dark blue with white oar-shaped tabs. During a private practices on the circuit of Snetterton after German GP of Germany in 1964,Graham Hill injured himself, destroying his car and cracking some vertebras. He wears a cervical collar for the first time during the Austria GP. This one, ancestor of the system Hans? according to the comment of Sport Auto Magazine, was inflated in 6kg / cm2! Graham Hill wears it until the France GP, in July, 1965.
