Q: What are the different scales and model sizes about?:

A: For any of you that are not familiar with the different scales that our models are available in, we have come up with the following information for you. All of our models are built "in scale" to the real car that they are portraying. So a model in 1:4 scale would be 1/4th the size of the real car. A model in 1:12 scale would be 1/12th the size of the real car and so on. Keep in mind that cars like a Top Fuel Dragster would be much larger than say a street car even though they are both in 1:18 scale.

On average, the following model sizes would be close approximations:
  • 1:64 scale: 1-2 inches long
  • 1:43 scale: 3-4 inches long
  • 1:32 scale: 4-5 inches long
  • 1:24 scale: 6-7 inches long
  • 1:18 scale : 8-9 inches long
  • 1:12 scale: 12-15 inches long
  • 1:8 scale: 20-24 inches long

Q: How much are your shipping costs?:

A: Shipping charges and the different service levels we offer are displayed during the check out process. Shipping charges are based on the size and weight of the box. If you have questions about shipping or different levels of service, please contact us.
Q: What is the difference between Back Order and Pre-Order?

A:
  • A Back Order is an item that we have had in stock previously but are temporarily out of stock.

  • A Pre-Order is for an item that has not been released yet. Many collectors like to pre-order so that they don't miss out on popular models that are quick sell outs.
Q: If I pre-order with a credit card, when am I billed?

A: We never bill your credit card for pre-orders until the actual day we ship the model to you.
Q: How do you handle damaged shipments?

A: Each and every model is thoroughly inspected before it leaves our warehouse. In the event you receive a damaged shipment, you should either contact us or the carrier. We will need your help in reporting the damaged shipment to the carrier. As soon as we confirm that a claim has been filed, we will immediately re-ship the damaged item or items out to you.
Q: Do you have a walk in store or retail showroom?

A: Sorry to say we do not. We are strictly a mail order and web based business. Due to insurance reasons, we are not allowed to have customers pick up orders at our facility.
Q: Do you accept returns?

A: Yes, but in the event you need to return an item to us you must contact us first for a Return Authorization Number. Any packages returned to us without an RA number will be refused and returned to you. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Q: Can I combine an item I won on Ebay with another Replicarz order?

A: Sorry to say that we cannot combine ebay purchases with orders placed on our website. We use two different shipping platforms and unfortunately they cannot be integrated.
Q: How accurate are your estimated release dates?

A: We pass on the same information that the manufacturers give us. Please understand that these are only estimated delivery dates. Some mfg. are very good about release dates, others are not. We receive the products as timely as any other company if not quicker, so we kindly ask that you be patient on future releases.
Q: What are your business hours?

A: Hours that we are physically here to serve you:Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. We are also available via email.
Q: What are my payment options?

Q: How do I find what I am looking for?

A: Shopping at Replicarz is easy! If you are ordering from one of our catalogs or mailers, simply type our product number from your catalog into the appropriate "search" box on the top tool bar. You can also shop by the scale of the car, type of car, drivers name, the brand of model, etc., etc.

Q: How do I buy a gift certificate?

If you're ordering by mail, email, or fax, please include all information as to who we are sending the Gift Certificate to. Please indicate the recipient's name and address (if different from yours) so that we can print it on the gift certificate. There is a $4.00 SHIPPING CHARGE for gift certificate orders. We send the Gift Certificate via USPS Priority Mail.
